Hey everyone, i'm back, of course! lol I am still suck on discussing the beautiful Harley! My question is, if i were to get my own harley (which i plan to do soon!) would i be able to get it in pink? I have never seen a harley davidson in pink, i think that would make a really cool statement!

That's what body shops are for. You can paint your motorcycle any color you want. They can even add rainbows to your trike if you like. ![]() __________________ Buell Motorcycle Parts and Forum www.BuellXB.com

lol Okey dokey. I sense a little criticism there. I was just trying to make conversation. It was a legitimate question. Thank you for replying anyway.

Just messing with you a bit. I didn't realize you were a female. I was wondering about a pink motorcycle for a guy, but I wouldn't be surprised. ![]() __________________ Buell Motorcycle Parts and Forum www.BuellXB.com

| I have seen a pink harley before, custom painted of course. I think it would be a cool statement, with all the typical biker stuff (flames etc.) but with a female touch, pinks and purples or pearl overcoats, etc. | ||

Wow, Paperclip that would be nice! It's my dream to have my own bike. Although, my hubby swears he's going to get one first!
And yes bue, i am a female. There are female riders out there too.

IMO there's nothing sexier than a girl who rides rather than sit on the back.
Hope you get your ride soon Wiccan |

That's exactly what I want to do. I like rebuilding things, and an old Harley (modified of course) would be a great project.
Let us know how it turns out. |

Hey again all. Thanks so much for your last post paperclip. It's nice to see a male who is not acting like its a crime for a woman to want to build something or ride a motorcycle. I will definately keep you posted!

Shame on those who think a woman shouldn't build or ride anything
I think they are afraid a woman might show them off...

| Thanks for the warm welcome...My husband has an older dodge truck he has been fixing up and uses ebay quite often to find parts for it...they are so hard to find anywhere else. I am sure once it's done it will all be worth it because you will have done it yourself!! | ||

| hey Jemoelle! Yea, i know what it's like rebuilding those old trucks. They don't make em like they used to though. lol As for using ebay for the parts for my harley, MAN it's expensive! Even if i get a good price on a part, they kill me with the shipping. lol | ||

You got that right WiccanSpirit...sometimes shipping is a lot higher than the actual part...but what are you to do when you can't find it anywhere else...we do find a few things at the salvage yard though...but you take your chances when you get them there too

It's all part of the adventure. Getting all the parts and putting it all together. It's like giving birth!

| LOL I agree with you WiccanSpirit ...working on the truck and trying to find all the right pieces and putting them in place so they work right....way harder than giving birth...more frustrating too!! | ||

I have to say that you are right. But for us who are blessed enough to be the half that does not give birth, this is about as close as it gets.

That's a good point you have there WiccanSpirit...I never looked at it that way but I guess that could be why guys sometimes baby their vehicles and can be so touchy about them

Yes that would be why! I think .
I love my kids to death, but there's nothing like putting something together yourself. |

| I think maybe a dark blue base with pink pin striping would look sick for a womans bike. Not to guyish, not to girlish. Or even reverse it if you really have your mind set on a pink bike. | ||
