Hello everyone, I'm new here, a carry over from another great site buellxb.com. I would like to add my two cents as well if you don't mind. I own a '07 Buell Firebolt 12r. Yes, I am a bit partial but just giving my opinion about custom bikes. There are so many busa's, honda's, kawasaki's, victories, and dare I say... harleys out there. You pull up to a light or go to bike meet, and 9&half times out of ten, you will see a copy of your bike in a different shade of paint, or rims, ect. I had to have something totally different. How many times have you seen a buell there? Yes, it is a production bike, but you would have a hard time attracting the attention my bike grabs without spending 10 times what I paid. For me it's a perfect all around machine. I love the looks, the sound, the feel on the road and in the corners. Take a look at all the "one off features". Start at the front with the industries lightest front end, the single rotor that has produced the world record longest "stoppie". Continue to that air box that everyone thinks is a gas tank, the gas is in the frame, the oil in the swingarm, and the exaust that is under the bike for a well balanced ride. To me this all spells custom, and at a reasonable cost to boot. Riding this machine is another experience alltogether. The shear torque, the ability to own any corner at will, the stares when the people see what they thought was a harley they heard, and then the smiles, and thumbs up. Yes, I love harley's, yes, busa's, ect. can blow me away, yes, if I were a rich man I would have a ducati in my stable. But, I would still own my "custom" Buell, because of the all around satisfaction I obtain. Do yourselves a favor and ride one before you dump 30 to 100 grand on a "custom". Keep in mind...they are not for everyone, but thankfully that too adds to the custom flavor of the bike. Thanks all for bearing with my two cents. Another great site jeremy, great job, and please feel free to post any of my pics. you feel are in good taste with this post, and I will take more soon. Take care all..."keep the bugs off the glass, and the cops off your....tail".

Good show! No question, Buells are nice motorcycles. It helps the Buell community to show off your satisfaction with Buell on another motorcycle forum. I bet most motorcycle riders don't know they exist. __________________ Find everything you need and show off your custom motorcycles. Let the world know your style!

That's what I'm talk'n about! I don't think most motorcycle riders really know how cool Buells are. My previous favorite motorcycle was the GSXR 750. I'll try to post some of your pics on this thread soon. You have a mean looking Firebolt. __________________ Buell Motorcycle Parts and Forum www.BuellXB.com

Quote: You are right about that! Most people ask me what is a Buell or what is that when I'm out and about.
I bet most motorcycle riders don't know they exist. |

| Most people know what they want to know. Therefore they know harley, crotch-rocket, and now chopper. Buells don't quite fit into any of those, so they don't know. | ||
